Seaside Ruins

It was very clean and the owner give us alot of information.

It is a renovated old building - perfectly new and clean inside. We had a nice view of palm trees and the sunset. It is conveniently located for Pompeii and Castellamare (as seaside town with many restaurants, etc.).

Some cutlery would have been useful for when we ordered food. There is a fridge, microwave and dining table.

I had the pleasure to stay at Seaside Ruins BnB for a last-minute visit to my family that lives nearby. Alfonso welcomed us very warmly and was promptly available in case of requests during our stay. The room, furniture and building were brand new and spotlessly clean. Free snacks, tea, coffee provided even if no breakfast is mentioned in the booking description. The neighbours is quiet at night, walking distance to essential shops like bakery, supermarket, pizzeria. Strategically located to reach all main attractions (Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi) by car and connected by 15min bus to Castellammare, where there are many restaurants on the seafront as well as trains to Napoli and Sorrento too. Highly recommend!

No downside, everything was perfect!

Great area if you have a car! The apartment was new, comfortable and clean. We received some welcome drinks and snacks. We were able to check in before 2PM and we got a free upgrade based on availability.

I did not like that I was asked to give a 10 for the review as that facilitates a bonus from an agency.

The host Alfonso was great! really helpful with organising transportation for the week info on restaurants and loads of other little bits that made our stay great.

Warm welcome, good wifi, air conditioning and washing machine, all working.

Very noisy: from the street, from the entrance to the property. You literally hear every word of people coming and going. Sleeping possible with earplugs only. Also water problems: only head faucet in the shower, water smells of chlorine heavily, temperature changing all the time suddenly (yes, bidet too). And we weren't parking in the garage as one might expect from the pictures. Nothing happened to the car though.

Due to the flight delay, we arrived at the hotel late at night. Alfonso was waiting for us at the time of arrival. It was great. Special big thanks to him.

Alfonso helped and advised us on all issues regarding stays and trips to interesting and beautiful places. It is really a rare case when you are greeted with such hospitality and help throughout the time.

This property is located just off of the autostrade, which made it very convenient to go see the sights around the Napoli area. The kitchen was well appointed. The property is new so it is very clean and modern. The best part of our stay was Alfonso. He greeted us and showed us around the property. He went out of his way to help us navigate the area and sent us links to the area. He was attentive to our every need. Thank you Alfonso for your hospitality.

The apartment had only one garbage bin. The rest was perfect!
