The view makes your entire trip. It’s the hotel we will remember the most from our entire trip. Beautiful view and rooms. Staff were extremely well mannered and took care of every need. Despite the bad road for the hotel, the staff help you out on this and offer pickups at any time, so we did not mind.

For the price paid, the cleanliness was not perfect, especially in the bathroom. The water in the tub was yellow, dust in the bathroom, and small things like toothpaste splatter and unclean areas. The pool ladder was very wobbly too. WiFi did not work in our room probably because of how secluded the hotel is - but once again for the price paid, this should be solved.

Venus en amoureux le lieu est parfait pour des vacances intimistes. Il n’y a que 6 hébergements, la vue est à couper le souffle et rien aux alentours. Le bruit des animaux de la forêt, la gentillesse incroyable du personnel qui a pris soin de nous. Diluksan a été très attentionné, le reste de l’équipe également. Chaque moment était une occasion de nous faire plaisir pour que l’on se sente bien ! La literie est top et les chambres sont sublimes. Nous étions dans un rêve …

Nous avons tout aimé ! À noter qu’en mars 2026 la route pour venir à l’hôtel est toujours un peu sinistrée et qu’il faut penser à prévenir l’hôtel de votre arrivée 30 min avant pour qu’ils envoient un véhicule adapté vous récupérer. Il faut compter 15 min depuis la route principale hors travaux. L’hôtel est lui a 15 min depuis Ella donc si vous voulez sortir le soir c’est plus difficile. Le restaurant est top on mange très bien mais les prix plus élevés que les restaurants locaux en ville.

Nice view overlooking mountains

A lot actually. This was the second highest paid location we booked in Sri Lanka, more expensive than some 5,4 star hotels in the country. However, it was very disappointing to see the poor quality of maintenance and overall cleanliness. Swimming pool had a ladder that was hazardous. Bathroom flooded after one person took a shower, we had to use all the towels to stop the water flowing in to the room. Aircon was also dripping for few hours when we came in, but it was fixed after few hours. Even though rooms seem to be sealed, bugs come in at the night, probably through the bathroom. Food was fine, and staff were overall very friendly and tried to accommodate.

Ein Traum mitten im Jungel! Absolut ruhige Lage, abseits vom Trubel in Ella. Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist absolut toll, sowohl Abendessen als auch das sehr reichhaltige Frühstück. Der Koch fragt immer persönlich nach ob alles passt und geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Der Bungalow ist perfekt ausgestattet. Der Pool liegt mitten im Urwald! Es war ein perfekter, leider zu kurzer Aufenthalt. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Für uns kein Problem aber als Hinweis: es gibt viele Stufen;)

Le cadre exceptionnel, le repas du soir tout simplement le meilleur de tout notre séjour au Sri Lanka (kottu cheese et rice and curry) et incroyable petit-déjeuner. Le personnel est au petits soins !

Traumhafte Aussicht, egal ob im Zimmer, am Pool, oder beim Essen, mitten im Grünen Aufmerksame und freundliche Mitarbeiter Schöner Pool Frühstück und Abendessen waren gut Ausreichend Pooltücher

Das Essen war gut, erreicht jedoch bei dem Preis den man für die Unterkunft bezahlt nicht das dann eigentlich zu erwartende Niveau. Die Auswahl ist zwar sehr gut aber es ist eben keine Topqualität. Dies hängt sicher auch mit der schlechten Zugänglichkeit des Hotels und der geringen Anzahl von Betten (ca. 15-20) zusammen. Wie gesagt, es war gut zubereitet aber für den Preis hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet.
