Hotel Rosenro

I was coming from the airport and had to check in at 2 AM. While this hotel does not have a 24/7 desk, the person in charge was simply a call away to come and check me in. Similarly, I had to check out at 7 AM, which was done with a simple call. I should point out the closeness this hotel is to the University of Moratuwa. So if you have a short visit there, this place is quite suitable.

The room did not have a fridge or a microwave. Therefore, I don't think I will pick this hotel for stays longer than one night. Also, there was a suspicious stain on the wall (See the third photo). There were some tiny transparent objects that were very painful to step on the tile floor (See the fourth photo). Initially, I was worried that they may be broken glass. But after closer inspection, I gathered that these are the small anti-insect balls that you get in your bags etc. I am not sure if the hotel put them there on purpose to stop insects or if they fell off a bag of a guest. But either way, they were not fun to step on.

We were looking for a last minute hotel in the area and we could not have found a better place. Very friendly and helpful staff !! And really comfy room !! Greatly recommend !!

The location is perfect, with easy access to piliyandala town and Katubadda, making it a great base for exploring the area. The hotel's customer service is truly exceptional. The staff at the Rosenro in Piliyandala were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful and always available.
