Afri-Adventure Backpackers

The location is perfect for skiing at Afriski, just about 300 meters from the ski slope. The property is well-maintained and clean, with friendly staff who were always ready to assist. We also appreciated the barista who sold coffee, cappuccinos, and hot chocolate in the mornings. The rooms are also very well insulated, so it doesn't get very cold in the rooms at night.

The shared kitchen is not equipped with any utensils or cooking tools, and no towels or blankets are provided, so guests need to bring their own. It would have been helpful if this information was available on the booking page. The hot water was a bit unreliable, and there's only one shared fridge for the 24 rooms.

Location was perfect, Sky restaurant was okay, easy to get to, the night sky is perfect, there was not much to like really, it has changed a lot (for the worse) since i was last there over the past 4 years

When community guidelines are not observed by guests residing in a community environment, the night was noisy, nothing peaceful when trying to get sleep, shared bathrooms despite staff cleaning their best that guests make unnecessary mess, its not had to be considerate

It was my 4th time there-1st time sleeping there - I booked there because I didn't want to be going up and down those potholes - bed comfy,my only dilemma was toilet at 2am - and neighbours who complained about our noise when in actual fact they were t one's making noise ( your backpackers should have walls)..

I didn't like that the care taker as early as 7 am knocked at our door while sleeping- asked us about payment as if I drove 6 hours to scam someone - I booked through a website which said you'll pay at t property ...
