Pidurangala View Treehouse

Nous avons adoré cette expérience insolite dans la jungle. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, la cuisine est savoureuse et la vue sur Pidurangala rock incroyable ! Nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

+ self made tree hut + friendly family + nice view to rock + 3 nice dogs (but they do bark, just if somebody is scared) + can arrange dinner (1500 p.p.)

- WiFI basically not existent - bathroom very basic, no soap and only cold water - it's close to main street to the rock, so especially morning time you will hear heaps of vehicle go - hut inside simple, only thin blankets - breakfast dryish, no fruits

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad! Zowel het ontbijt, de lunch als het diner waren heerlijk. Daarnaast is het een superlief gezin dat altijd klaarstaat om te helpen en mee te denken met de planning van activiteiten. Ze geven goede tips en zorgen ervoor dat je verblijf echt ontspannen verloopt. Echt een aanrader!

Verblijf in een houten boomhut met een buitendouche, bij een superlieve familie. Ik mocht mee helpen koken, voor minder dan 8 euro eet je met z'n 2en van een heerlijke authentiek bereide maaltijd. De familie helpt je zo goed mogelijk, met ritjes, tours, tips en deelt kennis over de omgeving. Prachtig uitzicht op Pidurangala Rock. Slapen in de jungle is even wennen, maar wat is er veel te zien en te horen vanuit je hut! Leuke ervaring om mee te maken. Locatie is vanuit Sigiriya relatief makkelijk te bereiken met de tuktuk.

Waar we bang waren voor een zweterige nacht, was het juist relatief fris en moesten we slapen met veel kleding aan. Er was geen extra deken oid die we konden pakken. En de douche heeft alleen koud water ;)

We really loved this place! The family we stayed with was wonderful and welcoming. It was a perfect intro, as it was our first stay in Sri Lanka. They introduced us very well to Sri Lankan cuisine – these were the best breakfasts and dinners, with homegrown fruits! You live surrounded by nature, so you get used to other “residents” as well, which weren’t so bad – just tree frogs, lizards, squirrels and birds. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, the beautiful view from the terrace, the open-air shower, and the cozy feeling of falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of nature.

We are happy with our stay in Pidurangala View Treehouse. A small, customer-oriented, and very cozy family-run accommodation business. A lovely place to relax and spend time. Thank you!

L’affetto della famiglia, la cura e le coccole ricevute, la foresta autentica in cui la struttura eè immersa. Una pausa dal mondo, la pace!

Non funziona molto bene internet ma per noi era meglio così, abbiamo vissuto di più la realtà, scollegandoci per un attimo dal mondo!
