The rooms were clean, room for improvement

We chose this hotel because it was opposite the Elephant Transit centre and relatively close to the Udawalawe National park. Our room was very clean and tidy but did smell of cigarette smoke despite being a non smoking room. I concluded that this was because guest are allowed to smoke on the rooms balcony (there was an ashtray on the balcony table) and they might have left the doors open. The bathroom was spacious and clean and the shower pressure was really good. Meals were good and staff were friendly.

This hotel lists Airport shuttle as a service but in reality, they are just organising a local driver to take you to the airport (which is about 3-4 hours depending on the route you take) and the hotels quoted cost was double what Uber and the Taxi company quoted. This was a bit disappointing as other hotels shuttle service has always been either free or low cost.

The location opposite the Elephant transit house is amazing - surrounded by jungle and nature. The staff made us a tasty and filling picnic breakfast to take on our safari which departed at 5.30am. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves great food. Good for an overnight stay.

The air-con is very fierce and noisy - you also hear the air-con units from the other rooms.

Great location, just across the road from Elephant Transit Home. Good value.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but was ok

Tolle Lage, super Personal, alles perfekt sauber!! Direkt gegenüber ist noch das Elefanten Waisenhaus.

Wir hatten am Vorabend an der Rezeption noch gefragt, ob wir unser Gepäck während der Safari dort lassen können, offensichtlich hab es ein Missverständnis, denn als wir am nächsten Morgen zur Safari wollten, waren sowohl die Rezeption als auch das Tor nach draussen zu, sodass wir erstmal Schwierigkeiten hatten überhaupt das das Gelände zu verlassen. Das vielleicht vorher einmal abklären ;)

Proximité du Parc National. Facilité pour réserver le safari.

Établissement très bien mais peu de choses à faire sur place (à part le Parc National). Rester plus d’une nuit serait superflu.
