The view from the apartment

The location of the apartment is up a hill and far from the center. It requires a car or a taxi (which is a bit expensive).

Great to have bottles of water and Prosecco in fridge. Fab Trattoria just up the road.

Alessandro my experience was great! Thank you for being so responsive and helpful. I enjoyed staying at the apartment, it was very clean, and the walk to the town had amazing views. Thank you for arranging a taxi and for the Prosecco!!

Nice sunny deck with lake views. Bedroom living area very good. Perfect instructions from host. Nice complimentary bottle of wine.

Would have been nice to have drying rack to go with washing machine.

Balcony and views from apartment. Easy to get in. Very clean.

Parking was some distance away on some days.

The apartment was extremely quiet and well equipped and was just like the photos. The view from the balcony was beautiful. It is a little bit out of Varenna about a 2 km walk which was fine once you worked the quick way was down the steps up the rd a bit on the left. Unfortunately weather wasn’t so kind when we were there so the walk wasn’t as easy but a taxi was available into Varenna about €15. Alessandro the host was very helpful and gave us contacts for taxi service and even organized one for us when we were leaving. Bottle of Prosecco in the fridge was a nice touch.

Only thing I would say is some milk would have been good for tea and coffee when you arrived as there is no stores near by to buy any.

Clean property with amazing views and everything you needed. Alessandro couldn’t have done more to help us with taxis and anything else we needed.

Nothing to dislike

The location is great. It's close to Vernazza and very quiet at night. There is a great view from the patio. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. I liked the convenience of the nespresso machine for a quick espresso. They gave good directions and were easy to communicate with. The room was clean and the climate controls were easy to use. The parking lot was conveniently close to the gate. The area seems very safe and friendly.

The washing machine didn't clean our clothes very well and didn't spin the clothes enough to remove any water. The towels were all brand new and hadn't been washed yet so they made us itchy because of the chemicals in new fabric. One thing I would suggest adding is a clothes line or drying rack. There was something very sticky in the silverware drawer that had been spilled on everything inside. Overall this was a very pleasant stay but I just thought I should mention these things to help with future customers.
