Amazing rooms, had everything you could need. Extremely clean and in the perfect location. We had the best time here. Kindest people ever, would highly recommend!

The owner was very nice and tried to teach us Vietnamese. Easy check in and good location.

lovely area, lovely owners! so helpful and nice, while he didn’t speak much english he was very determined with the google translate and helped us learn a bit of vietnamese. seemed like a family business which was nice, and he stayed up till 4 am so we could arrive after our night bus. bed/mat to sleep on in reception of early check in isn’t available for your room. Incredible breakfast spread!!! coffee, juice, fruit, bread, vegetables and the option of either eggs, shakshouka eggs or pancakes :)) he was so sweet and was very friendly

What an amazing stay at Ruby Homestay! Ruby was the happiest and kindest man we have ever met. Always smiling and happy to help with anything we needed. He helped us arrange transport to Ha Long Bay and even at 6:30am he cooked us breakfast and boxed it up for us to take on the bus. Ruby also taught us some Vietnamese! The location is perfect and the bungalows are a great size and very comfortable. I would recommend Ruby Homestay to everyone and we would love to return in the future. If you need a place to stay in Tam Coc this is the place!

The family was kind and accommodating. Breakfast was such a spread - in addition to whatever we chose (shakshuka/pancakes/bahn mi), there's fresh banana, watermelon and passion fruit juice provided every morning plus coffee or tea. Since I was not too well, I took ginger tea every morning and I was given an entire bottle of fresh honey to help myself. They'd give us bottles of water whenever they saw us leaving. On the last night we wanted to try the local rice wine but couldn't find it in the nearby restaurants. So they gave us some of their homemade rice wine to try, no charges. It was very potent and fragrant. They went out of their way to arrange an early morning taxi for us to go to Trang An and also helped arrange transport back to Hanoi. We loved the size of the room and even the bathroom was very spacious. The rooms are little bungalows so there's lot of privacy. In addition to the Aircon, a fan was also provided. There was also a clothes rack. Pool was clean, large and quiet mostly. Don't expect to see manicured grounds though. It's a homely homestay.

Tam Coc itself was a little dirty; there was frequent burning of what seems to be rubbish so do expect smoke from time to time. The occasional fly will interrupt meals even at al fresco restaurants.
