Ci vorrebbe una maggiore cura nei dettagli ed alla manuitenzione; ad esempio il condizionatore era molto rumoroso, le lampade sui comodini con lo stelo non ben avvitato alla base sicchè la loro stabilità è precaria, il rooftop che è la parte più bella da vivere nella giornata come zona relax o per lavorare al computer si presente arredata con materiali vetusti e scomodi: tutte cose che con pochissimo impegno darebbero tuttto un altro feeling all'ospite. La cosa più assurda però è che manchi qualsiasi indicazione visibile dalla strada indicante la porta di entrata del Riad (che è sita all'interno di un piccolo androne fra l'altro di giorno completamente buio, e perpendicolare rispetto alla strada da cui si arriva), quindi anche arrivando esattamente in loco con le indicazioni satellitari, per individuare l'ingresso bisogna andare a inventare dove questo possa essere ed arrivare essattamente di fronte alla porta: questo non è accettabile.

Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Die Rezeptionisten vor allem Majid gaben sich große Mühe. sehr freundlich und engagiert.

ie Lage war für ältere Leute (70+) schwierig, nur über unebene schmutzige Gassen nach einem längeren Fußweg erreichte man die Medina. Taxis konnten nicht bis ans Riad heranfahren. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein, knapp 9 qm, es gab keine Ablageflächen, Haartrockner musste beim Rezeptionisten erfragt werden, Tee- und Kaffeezubereitung nur auf Anfrage bei der Rezeption. Betten gut, Bad auch sehr klein, Dusche mit Warmwasser OK:

- Beautiful riad, especially I liked the bathroom - Nice breakfast - nice small touches and attention to detail - Othman was a great host, always available, super friendly and I really enjoyed the welcoming. The mint tea directly after coming in was a nice touch. He was super helpful at getting me a transfer to the airport as well.

- the riad is located in a bit of a rough area, I wouldn’t recommend coming back home here after sunset. Young criminals aggressively surround you trying to extort money, it happened to me every single evening I was coming back to the riad. Be aware of the guys who tell you that the “road is closed for prayers”. Do not listen to them and try to avoid any contact.

We stayed in this Riad for two weeks. The staff (Abdou, Nourddine, Majid, Hisham, Loubna) were exceptionally kind and helpful. Location is in walking distance to all main attractions of the Medina. You will stay in the middle of the “real life” of the Medina, which is quite interesting to see. It is by no means a standard touristy area. Transport from and to the airport can be organised by the staff through a contracted transport company, which is very convenient. Breakfast was included in our booking and was good.

We went to Marrakesh in January, and it was much colder than we had expected. This is no fault if the Riad or its staff though, but be prepared if you travel in the winter. The room has an airco which can operate as a heater, but it is insufficient to get the room to a comfortable temperature. In the last week we were offered a portable radiator, which made all the difference; suddenly the room was quite comfortable. The breakfast room is quite chilly in the morning though.

Beautiful riad with stunning rooms in a great location in Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, Adel made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. His hospitality really stood out—he shared excellent local recommendations and we even watched the AFCON final with him, which was such a special experience. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the overall atmosphere of the riad was lovely. A truly memorable stay and highly recommended.
