The hotel is very nice you can really relax and enjoy a beautiful view at the sea. You really are in the jungle,

Unfortunately during our stay there was some problem with the water. We had to change rooms and even the pressure of the shower was very low with no warm water. The staff tried to fix the problem but unfortunately they couldn’t manage it. Without this water issue it would have been a perfect stay for us.

La inmersión en la selva y la estetica del alojamiento

La música muy alta y no apropiada para ser un ambiente de desconexión. Ademas ruido nocturno con musica alta en habitaciones cercanas lo que permitía el adecuado descanso. Calidad-precio un poco excesivo, precio no acorde con las instalaciones.

Excelente ambiento tanto en lo natural como la construccion

Las instalaciones comunes están bien cuidadas, la ubicación es bonita y la comida fue correcta durante toda nuestra estancia.

Nuestra experiencia quedó completamente empañada por el trato recibido. La habitación tenía mosquiteras en lugar de ventanas, poca privacidad, muchos insectos (incluso una rana en la cama), numerosas picaduras pese a usar repelente, problemas frecuentes con el agua caliente, y las sábanas no se cambiaron durante la estancia hasta que lo solicitamos en recepción. Lo peor fue el comportamiento del personal. Éramos cinco huéspedes alojados en el hotel y dos amigas hospedadas en otro establecimiento. Tras una excursión conjunta, paramos en Bambuda para que los huéspedes pudiéramos ducharnos antes de ir a Isla Colón a cenar. Al llegar, nos informaron de que no podían acceder personas ajenas al hotel. Como desconocíamos esa norma, propusimos alternativas razonables, como consumir en el bar o pagar un day pass mientras utilizábamos nuestras habitaciones y seguidamente nos marchábamos. Sin embargo, la situación escaló rápidamente con gritos, faltas de respeto y una actitud muy agresiva por parte de algunos empleados. Finalmente aceptaron que consumiéramos en el establecimiento, pero a los 20 minutos volvieron a exigir que nuestras amigas se marcharan, pese a que en la isla no existe ningún otro lugar donde esperar salvo el muelle. Más tarde, mientras esperaban en el muelle el taxi acuático que ya habíamos solicitado, una empleada intentó arrebatarle el móvil a una de ellas cuando trataba de grabar lo que estaba ocurriendo ya que volvía a tensarse la situación. Durante el incidente, le arrancó la parte superior del bikini, dejándola con el pecho al descubierto en una situación muy desagradable e innecesaria. Al día siguiente, la responsable (Andrea) nos pidió nuestra versión, pero en ningún momento recibimos una disculpa ni percibimos una verdadera intención de asumir responsabilidades por la forma en que se gestionó el incidente. No vale la pena alojarse allí teniendo en cuenta el trato. De hecho, Bambuda ya tiene fama en Isla Colón por el mal trato a algunos clientes.

Incredible views, the wildlife around is amazing, the staff are super friendly and the pool area is incredibly relaxing! The food from the menu for breakfast and lunch is very very good, (but the dinners can be a hit or miss and quite expensive for what it is)

The rooms were very hot with no AC and minimal fans, we had a room to ourselves which smelt very bad from the first moment we arrived - like wet clothes that never dried. Whilst it was unpleasant to be in the room we just avoided it except to sleep, and spent all our time in the amazing spaces downstairs which make it worth it! The slide is pretty makeshift and not safe, it is very fun but we all got various cuts, burns and bruises so just be careful!

Un lugar maravilloso para quedarse. El staff facilita la estancia a la perfección y son muy agradables (especial mención a Sebastián). Comida y tours excelentes. No puedo ponerle un 10 debido a las obras, que acaban a final de año.

La cama de la habitación doble era únicamente cama doble. Y el colchón era muy blando y se movía

This is a beautiful property. Definitely more of a jungle resort vibe. It felt both cozy and luxurious. The food is good. It’s very convenient that I can charge everything to my tab. The front desk staff were all helpful and wonderful. 24 hour pool, happy hour specials, comfy beds.

It was under renovation while I was there, so a lot of noise, trouble with getting filtered water, etc, but the place could use a refresher, so I can’t wait to see how it turns out. The dorm I was in didn’t have a/c and the fans weren’t great, but it was still comfortable enough at night. Wish the windows had curtains though. Also, my shower didn’t have hot water so I had to shower on another floor and even then it was lukewarm. The cleaning lady came at 10:30am when checkout is 11am so it was challenging to pack since I had to dance around her the whole time. Would have made more sense for her to clean after checkout, especially since there were not very many people staying, so it shouldn’t have been difficult to coordinate. Some guys went out in a kayak that was not safe to use and they had to swim back to the hostel. The dock also has a sign on it right where you get out of the boat so be careful at night. I hit my head and a week later I can still feel the sore bump.

Muy bonito lugar! El restaurante ofrece muy buena comida y cócteles. Todo el personal nos trató increible! Por lejos la mejor atención que hemos recibido en un hostal!! Definitivamente recomiendo Bambuda Lodge y esperamos poder volver pronto. Gracias!
