The location behind the draping ferns was amazing. Very well thought out arrangement inside the room. The hosts were very friendly and "over the top" helpful. It was raining and they gave us a ride to the bus stop.

It was perfect for my mother, my elderly dog and myself. A great location to stop between Wellington and Auckland instead of Taupo usually. Super private and beautiful Airbnb, so much nicer and more things provided than anywhere else I’ve paid a lot more for. Felt really safe and peaceful. Would def stay again.

It is a great nicely-appointed unit in a nice quiet location about 0.5km from Putaruru restaurants.

Minor downsides are: (a) car parking is a little awkward, particularly for anyone who is uncomfortable reversing. (b) the TV was not tuned to stations and relied on streaming, for which we could not find instructions; the TV was very slow at responding to instructions via the remote controller. These problems might be quite difficult for foreign guests unfamiliar with NZ streaming services such as FreeView, TVNZ+. I emphasise that these downsides are minor, and would not deter us from staying there again.

very cozy and well-kept accomodation, with all the essentials covered. Really comfortable, excellent communication from the hosts, lots of little extras to make life easier (extra bedding, charging cables, candles, snacks)

The shower head is a little bit low, so would be tricky for anyone over 5'9

Extreme attention to detail, lots of amenities. Confortable bed, beautiful place.

Bear in mind you can find harmless spiders inside the house as the place is sorrounded by nature.

Extremely comfortable bed, beautiful surrounding gardens (that you're allowed to pick from), great parking, quiet and nice for listening to birds. Accomodation is well-equipped; little things like basic breakfast supplies and snacks, additionally, didn't just make us feel very welcome but made me (hangry pregnancy moods) very happy on arrival. The apartment is nicely decorated, cozy, and has nice views. Communication and checking in was easy.

Place can get a little chilly (of course there is heating and sufficient bedding though), maybe bring some thick socks or slippers during cold weather for longer stays. If you're afraid of insects, remember that beautiful flowers and veg right outside your window may bring in the occasional crawly.
