Olemayian Amboseli Cottages

Beautiful cottages with a breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro! The staff is incredibly friendly and we felt very looked after. People like Levi, Kelvin, and chef Felix make the place feel warm and comfortable. Felix cooked delicious meals for us in the evening. When we had a private issue (which had nothing to do with the accommodation), Levi and the owner Mercy immediately worked to help us resolve it. Thanks to the whole team for this amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place for a quiet getaway from the city and to explore Amboseli. My wife loved the bed, very comfortable, the setting is quiet, in the middle of nature. Levi was very hospitable to us, ensuring we are comfortable, highly recommend more people to check out Olemaiyan and the Amboseli in general. Love the two resident dogs; Nema and Lemaiyan, they are part of the staff and very welcoming. Look forward to coming another time.

What a wonderful stay! If I am being honest, I was suspicious about all the glowing reviews but let me tell you, Olemayian is everything everyone says and more! Beautiful, rustic and well positioned cottages. The staff are incredible! Levi has a heart of gold and makes you feel so deeply welcomed into the space! Everyday chef Felix wouldn't just be curious about my meal plans but genuinely wanted to know how I was, how the game drive went and even my history. The fact that Mercy has gone to so many extra steps to make the place as sustainable as possible makes the stay even sweeter! Something other guests havent mentioned is that there are desks in the rooms for those who need to work:) Many thanks to the whole Olemayian. Ndiyabulela❤️

If I had to knit pick, I would ask for a small side table in the rooms.

Il posto è molto carino, a poco più di 20 min dall'ingresso dell'Amboseli. Vista sul Kilimangiaro. I Cottages realizzati su palafitte sono accoglienti con l'indispensabile. Letto comodo. Doccia calda. Per i pasti principali ti chiedono cosa ti piacerebbe e ti cucinano un piatto unico. Gestori sempre disponibili e gentili. Ci hanno preparato la schiscetta con la colazione da portare via alle 5 del mattino. Una mattina abbiamo avuto un problema con la ns Land Cruise e ci hanno aiutato nel capire come risolvere, hanno chiamato con il loro telefono il servizio di noleggio che avevamo utilizzato perché con il mio telefono non potevo chiamare e così siamo risuciti a risolvere in fretta. Consiglierei l'aggiunta di un ventilatore, anche se poi di notte si sta bene.

Diciamo che il prezzo del piatto unico (valido per pranzo e colazione), di 15 dollari, non è commisurato al posto, anche se il cibo era buono. E che il resto è considerato mancia a prescindere, meglio chiarirsi bene.
