Matteotti Royale Apartments

The location was outstanding and the apartment was beautiful.

The oven is a combination microwave so it can be difficult to cook if you need.

This apartment was perfect for our trip to Syracuse. Big and spacious rooms, one and a half bathroom, air cons, balconies, elevator in the building, top location. It was very accessible for our kid's stroller which was one of the main things we wanted. Easy communication and check in. Thank you, guys!

We liked everything, but if I have to write something that could be improved - all of the pillows were a bit high for our taste, it will be great if you can have options.

Location was perfect, size of apartment was ideal. Comfortable and accessible.

We specifically asked for 2 bathrooms but it turns out one of the bathrooms didn’t have a shower so it should have been indicated as just half a bathroom.

The property was well equipped, clean, quiet and modern- located in a great location, close to restaurants, the mainland and the old city

Absolutely new apartment with all the amenities. Perfect location. Professional staff with all the necessary tourist information. The best apartment during our 2 week trip to Italy. Totally recommend!

Clean and lots of space

Matteotti Royale Apartments is nestled in the centre of Ortigia, just a few minutes walk from everything on the island. No, really! You are never more than a few minutes from great food, gelato, coffee and a supermarket. We stayed for our honeymoon and the property was absolutely modern, spotless and private with a beautiful sea view that overlooked both the inner harbour and the bustling streets below. We had no noise issues thanks to the sound proofing. The apartment we stayed in was big and spacious and each room is tastefully designed with clean lines and are all air conditoned. The building itself is of an old Deco style and is right on the central street leading up into Ortigia island. Giulio our host was attentive and helpful and supplied excellent recommendations for things to do around Syracuse. We can't recommend staying here highly enough, an absolute gem.

The apartment is exceptionally well located, has newly been renovated and is quite large. 5 balconies to choose from and lovely sunset views from the lounge. Giulio was very responsive during our stay and the restaurants he recommended were great. There is a lift but the walk up to the third floor is easy. The washing machine was a bonus. We will stay here again if we visited Ortigia.

Good location, quick access to old town restaurants, sightseeings. Everything was clean, lots of space, big balcony. Kitchen was well equipped, microwave, coffee machine (with coffee pads). Even though located on a busy street, the apartment was quiet. Ac and tv was in every room. Lorenzo was really helpful with everything - places to visit, where to eat, where to park car etc.
