Very Clean Great Location

Location was great. Owners brought a heater and electric blanket when we requested as it was cold.

I was charged R700 specifically for cleaning yet in the 3 nights stay nobody came to clean. There were a number of issues with the unit which rhe owners should try fix cause the place has great potential. There is a leak from the skylight which is not great when it rains cause its inside the house, I found if strange that nobody said anything. In the main bedroom the blinds dont host all the way done and there's a broken blind which when sleeping allows light inside the room making it difficult to sleep. In both bathroom theres drainage issues as you shower water takes hours to drain out so you're literally showering with dirty water above your ankles. Sink also has same issue in the second bedroom. Window in the second bedroom literally opens only 5cm as its blocked by the inverted and also opens to still the interior of the house.

I didn't get the apartment on the fotos. Agent made it seems like it was a misunderstanding on my part. Rain water was leaking onto the electrical invertor. Smelly and dirty blanket, old food stuck between the couches and hair on the scatter pillows, windows was dirty and blinds dusty.

The apartment was great. It’s next to the beach so it made our morning walks easier.

Location was great, Walking distance to the beach, and local shop. Host communicated well, and let us know of all the necessary details prior to checking in. Modern setup, and furnishings. Very Spacious.

Cleanliness of Pots and Pans were not great. Fridge was not clean, Freezer compartments frozen with ice. Some of the Blankets and Bedding were not very clean. Bathroom Tub and Basin were blocked and took ages to drain. Braai equipment was very dirty, had to buy my own.

We were told on the day of our arrival that there is a double booking and we must cancel our booking. No alternative. Got our refund on Monday the following week. Claudia blocked me on WhatsApp before the whole thing was resolved.

The rooms were clean, with the kitchen having all necessities. The access gate to the beach and the comfort was heavenly.
