Bellagio Ghisallo Penthouse

Wir fanden die Unterkunft makellos sauber vor. Die Lage ist interessant, auch wenn sie nicht im Zentrum von Bellagio liegt, da man sein Auto im Garten parken kann. Der Gastgeber begrüßte uns persönlich: Er ist ein sehr angenehmer und freundlicher Mensch. Der Gastgeber ist ein sehr berühmter Künstler in Italien, und wir hatten etwa eine Stunde lang ein angenehmes Gespräch über Kunst und Architektur. Es war ein einzigartiges Erlebnis!

I can give a very poor rating for the area. Be careful. The rooms are messy. The bed sheets are not changed even when they are yellow. There are spider cocoons under the chairs. I was bitten by bed bugs after the first night. I would not recommend this place.

Mansarda di charme. La casa è grande e ben arredata. Bellissimo il giardino! L’host è stato molto gentile e ci ha fatto parcheggiare all’interno. La cucina è nuova e ben fornita. Letti comodi, pulizia impeccabile. Consiglio questa location.

La casa si trova sulla strada principale ma per visitare tutta la zona del lago è fortemente consigliabile avere un auto. C’è comunque un bus che si ferma a 50metri dalla casa.

The host did answer some questions in person and gave us some more towels.

The house wasn't clean. Was dusty and full of spider webs. It was frizzing cold, and we were NOT allowed to use the heater. According to the host, it was summer time, and therefore not needed. But it was 11°C outside, and my elderly parents were cold. I had to buy a hot water bottle for them. The plugs were not the same as the rest of Italy. The dishes were dirty.

I loved the property, it was authentic and charming and from every room there was a stunning view, including the bathroom. It was luxury but it felt homely and original to area and the vibe. Also the town and its people were lovely and welcoming too.

The lack of oven. It has a microwave oven which I originally thought was a small overhead oven/grill. I had bought a pizza but couldn't cook it. Other than that it was all we need, it felt very safe and comfortable with a nice bit of private gated garden to sit out in.
