Queenstown Mountain Getaway

Everything about this property was exceptional. If you could give it 6 stars I would.

Queenstown mountain getaway is exceptional. Great location, clean and has literally everything. Pots, pans, cutlery, kettle toaster. Spices, salt, paper, washer/dryer clean white bedding, clean white towels, heatpump, electric blankets, you name it it has it. They cherry on top for me was the little finishes /torches. Definitely added to my favourites.

The apartment feels new and everything is working fine (from the kitchen, bathroom, heatpump, the laundry machine etc). It was great for a week of stay as it has everything we need. We came for the ski fields and the shed to store out gears is really thoughtful.

When I book this property, I didn't notice there is a security deposit (500) to be collected prior to check in, or, we are given the choice to buy a non-refundable damage waiver (55aud). That was new to me when i get closer to check in.

Unit was advertised as being suitable for 4 people, but the only bathroom was an ensuite to the bedroom. This does not work for 4 people staying in the unit., as the people using the pull out bed in the living area have to pass through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. No way is that acceptable, especially considering the high nightly charge for the unit. bathroom should have been accessible to all guests at all times. Tap unit in the kitchen was almost falling off, extremely hard to use. Owner was aware of the problem but made no apologies or discount for the inferior setup. Owner was living on site and made the stay unpleasant with constant messaging about how we were to park, to replace the outdoor furniture that was moved slightly. We did not feel welcome, more that we were just a money maker for the owner. Would not recommend you stay here.

Great location, cozy and warm house, it got everything you might need for a long term stay. Kitchen is well equipped 👍 We enjoyed our stay!

Bathtub drain stopper isn’t working properly, so for those who like take baths be careful, otherwise great shower, good pressure!
