Grand Riviera Suites

This was one of those stays where everything simply worked as expected. No surprises, no complications, just a comfortable and pleasant experience from start to finish.

Bed was comfortable

No tv, no cutlery or plates, cooking utensils, no sofa, very small unit and the shower was unable to be used. They had a bucket and smaller scoop to wash with. Very poor unit. Not in a great location either.

Nothing much

The check in service is horrendous as you have to wait for a lady to arrive on her terms the place was dirty and covered in tacky stickers not to mention the same lady knocking on the door at 10am asking when we are leaving cause she wants us out even know check out is 12pm

The listing claimed several things that weren't true, some more important than others. Claimed there was an Iron, which was important so my fiancé could iron her clothes for an important interview. There is a kitchenette, with the hot-plate thing, but not frying pan to use on it. And the only person my fiancé could communicate with claimed cooking wasn't allowed (which sorta defeats the purpose of a kitchenette, and was not stated anywhere on the listing). My fiancé loves to cook, and it's a good way to eat healthy and save money. The only thing she could use was a rice cooker. There is a knife, but no cutting board (fiancé saw cut marks on the countertops making it appear previous guests did their cutting anyway). The listing claims several views from the window, when the only view is another tall and wide building maybe 20 feet away. All of our attempts to get ahold of the owner/manager of the property were met with silence. Even Booking tried and couldn't make contact, so we got a credit. As long as you're aware there is NO: Iron, frying pan for the hot plate, cutting board, or decent view, everything else about the room was fine. But you should have this info to make an informed decision.

My friend and I booked this place for a weekend getaway. We spent most of the day exploring the city and appreciated having such a comfortable place to return to each night.

We arrived straight from the airport and were pleasantly surprised by how easy the entire process was. Within minutes we were settled in and relaxing after a long journey.

We had to extend our stay unexpectedly due to schedule changes. Thankfully, the host was accommodating and made the process very easy for us.

Our trip was mainly for business, so we didn’t expect to spend much time in the apartment. However, the comfortable environment made us look forward to returning each evening after meetings.

We arrived carrying several shopping bags after spending the day at the mall. Having a comfortable place to sit down, unpack, and relax made the evening much more enjoyable. The unit felt like a home away from home.
