Appartamento Catania centro

Great location, safe clean big facility w heavy metal gate / locks :) antique building w marbles, full size kitchen, livingroom, Bathroom/shower , big bedroom w closets. Sofabed in the livingroom. 2 air-conditioning in bed & livingroom ❣️ nice restaurants right outside. Especially "Piazza Scaccamma" 👍attractions in 3-5 minutes. Tour info in the livingroom. Thank U for a big water bottle in the refrigerator 😍. So many things to say.

Only one thing. Noise from the street downstairs. people talking till 1am ...... Nadia gave us ear plugs :)

Close to the central street.

1. The host disturbed in the third day of our stay (we stayed 5 days in total) coming for make a picture of our passports. But at the check-in we showed both our id cards and passports. It made us a bit nervous. 2. Our two years old child was bitten 7 times on his leg during the night when he was sleeping by some unknown insect. Suggest to disinfect the apartment. 3. The scores were given by other reviews are too high. I do not know why. But the apartment is not of top level as it is marked. Maximum score is 7.5 if to be real. 4. The outside is too noisy almost every day. We were good sleeping only if we are too tired.

beautiful apartment, spacious and clean with a great location

it can be a little noisy on a Friday and Saturday but it wasn’t really an issue and we slept ok it’s right in the centre so to be expected but also great and easy to get home from centre

At weekend,a bit of noise in the street,but it was EASTER,so people were partying.NO other unpleasant situation!

We stayed in 10 different hotels and apartments during our recent trip to Italy and this apartment stands out. Our host is super accommodative. She met us in person at check in and let us leave the luggages inside the apartment after checking out. When we came back to pick up the luggages at a later time, she was there to open the door for us. There is so much care than some of the self-check-in apartments. The apartment itself is very spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable, the temperature is just right. Downstair is a little square with bars, but it wasn't noisy. We slept very well every night. The host kindly provided ear plugs in case we need them. I think that's very thoughtful. The kitchen is equipped with the basics. We made a quick breakfast one day with the pastries, cold cut and fruits from the fish market. That went well with the prosecco which was a welcome gift from the host. The washing machine in the apartment is a plus. We enjoyed the location of the apartment. It is very close to everything. Many good restaurants and bakeries within a few minutes walking. Fish market is nearby that you can get fresh produce in the morning. We can walk to everywhere in the city center without needing to take public transportation. Yet there is an Ali Bus stop 5 minutes away from the apartment that takes you to the airport. Door to door from the apartment to the airport took us less than an hour. Train station is 15 minutes walk and bus terminal is 5 minutes walk. We used the apartment as the base for day trips to Mt Etna via tour bus and Taormina via train and it suited our needs perfectly. Great experience.

lovely location. easy to walk to most any place you want to go. many great restaurants and bars footsteps from front door. apt very spacious, clean and nicely furnished. only 15 min walk to Catania Centrale and bus terminals. Nadia was great host and made us feel very welcomed!!

high noise levels at night as bars and restaurants stay open to midnight and later. host provided ear plugs that helped.

The apartment is amazing, in an older house but well equipped, right in the city center (all of the attractions are a walk away from it). The cleanliness was exceptional, Nadia really makes sure her flat is clean. Nadia as a host is also amazing, really helpful, supportive- probably the best host we’ve ever had. She made our stay in Catania even greater

Since it’s the city center and the building is older, it can get a bit loud with people outside and music. It didn’t bother us, and Nadia also has earplugs available in the flat should some need it.
