Really good location, near Teatralna Metro, also at the back of the building with courtyard view so away from main street. 5min walk to Khreschatyk. Mini Mart near entrance courtyard, although prices are a little higher. Fairly modern renovation with most essentials provided. First place I have stayed in Kyiv (I’ve stayed in many) and the water is finally hot!! Yayyy! But please read “didn’t like comments” before booking…. I am planning to stay in Kyiv medium term and have been looking for a comfortable apartment, if it wasn’t for my “didn’t likes” below, I would rebook this.

I remain perplexed why the apartment is advertised with a washing machine, but no washing machine powder/tablets available in room however shower gel and shampoo is. Travellers are more likely to carry their own particular brand shampoo than travel with washing powder/tablets. If it’s about $$ maybe remove shampoo and replace with small supply of washing machine powder/tablets?? Can buy washing powder at mini mart in courtyard but as a traveller, booking a room with a washing machine, I’d expect the powder/tablets to be supplied also, even just a small amount to do maybe 2-3 loads. While on the machine subject, it could definitely do with a thorough clean and please leave the lid and drum open when not in use to help air out any smells!! Multi function shower rose needs replacing as some nozzles missing, others firing in all directions wetting floor. Infact maybe suggest replacing entire shower/jacuzzi situation to a simple walk-in shower, with a simple hand held shower rose that is also used when in overhead bracket. Keep it simple, keep it nice, keep it comfortable. I seriously doubt the jacuzzi is used that much if at all and a simple walk in shower is just as luxury but 100x more comfortable not to mention easier to maintain. But if you insist on keeping the jacuzzi, please please please provide a non-slip shower mat to place into the jacuzzi when being used as shower as I almost slipped and have read previous comments of others also slipping. Also, water has a peculiar smell 🤢 lady at reception said it was potentially because of recent Russian strikes and it smells at her home also, but I am now staying in hotel, not far from this apartment and it does not smell at this hotel. As mentioned before, if it wasn’t for these negatives I would have booked this for much longer stay!

This apartment has everything you need. A washing machine, kettle, some kitchenware for cooking, air cons and heaters. The sound isolation is exceptional, and also you can’t hear any noise from the road because of the location. Metro is 2 steps away, which was very important since its war and unfortunately you need a shelter nearby.

Only the building itself is very old, but it has nothing to do with the apartment hotel itself. And the elevator is the tiniest I’ve ever seen, so if for any reason you need a big elevator, it might be an issue.

location was very convenient, the hall of the hotel on the 4-th floor was neat and clean. however the building itself, the stairs where old, not maintained for probably recent 30 years or more. unpleasant smells near the elevator and on the stairs.

the bathroom equipment is somewhat outdated and sloppy. there is a constant bad smell in the bathroom. The staff won't be able to handle this problem. The house has a rotten sewer system.
