Anouxa Riverview Guesthouse

I love the way that the rooms are constructed on a one-storey only. The garden is very green and pleasant. I feel lost in the lovely tropical garden. The table and chairs in front of each room are a bonus for people who love to sit outside and have food next to their room. I was travelling with a large family of 8, and they had a big wooden table with a lot of chairs, so we could buy food from outside and eat on the property, enjoying the fresh air from the Mekong.

The rooms and bathroom equipment are a bit dated, but that's worth the price. I would book earlier next time to secure the river view rooms, as that would enhance the experience.

Great location by the river and nice little concrete bungalow/rooms facing a pretty garden with bikes and scooters available for rent. Restaurant is ok, nothing stand out but good for a coffee before heading out.

My room had a horrible wet dog smell. The bed was super hard as were the pillows which were like sleeping on bags of sand. Not very comfortable.

Great location on the Mekong River. Rooms were older but comfortable and all in working order. Owner was friendly and helpful. Onsite restaurant food was good with reasonable pricing.

Stunning setting right on the river. Set in a beautiful garden. The owner and his family are wonderful. I could have stayed much longer.

The motorbike rental

Poor directions to get there after specifically asking how to get there fron Pakse Then repeatedly said we should not have paid as much for the transportation as we did Then he had no problem overcharging us for the bus tickets to Don Khone (600 for 2 where as The Khorone Riverside Hotel would have charged us 540) even after I told him what the other would charge. He told us Don Khone would be quiet compared to Don Det Wrong info) He told us we could pay with Visa for the room and the tickets the. Said he would only take cash. He was being gamey with us and I would suggest spending more and staying at the Kahone Riverside instead.

this is a quirky place. clean, comfy, good wifi, great location for Phong su, local potteries, and rice trails. on the banks of the Mekong with amazing views and owner can arrange travel to 4000 Islands direct from Champasak. This trip was wonderful: down wooden steps to a narrow boat, cross the Mekong to the bus. all the google searches wanted a return to Pakse

the selection of food if you are not a meat eater is not great.
