The views were stunning and you could only hear the waterfall and the birds. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and had everything we needed. Super comfortable bed too

The owners where a lovely couple. The property was quite retro and quirky which we liked

The lounging chairs werent that comfortable and in some places it was a bit dusty.

Amazing place, did not want to leave! Private and cosy and loved the walk down to the waterfall. Lovely hosts that left us to ourselves as well. Will return in the future we think 😁

The only thing that we can think of is the wifi availability. Even tho a password is provided and you can see the network name, the signal strength is almost 0 from the hosts home next door so we had no internet connection for our stay. Maybe a wifi booster would help? We didn't really need the connection but future guests might so just a suggestion 😊

What a stunning, private getaway this is! The most comfortable, snuggly bed, a welcoming & beautifully decorated space, tidy and practical with all you need. The sound of the waterfall just out the door, (can just be seen from bed) is a magical background to a relaxing stay. Just out of Matakana, with plenty of activities and hospitality venues. Will absolutely be returning. Thank you.

There is a hot plate and a microwave, but with such great hospitality close by, basic cooking facilities was not an issue.
