Bryggen Living

Location was great, though it was quite a steep walk up to the street. The living area was spacious and comfortable. Interesting artwork on the walls. We didn’t cook but there seemed to be everything you would want to put a meal together. Loved the underfloor heating. Beds were comfortable.

The stairs up to the bedrooms were very steep and would not be suitable for the very young or old or those with mobility issues. It would have been good to have somewhere to hang clothes - just a few hooks in the bedroom corridor would do, or a free standing rack. I didn’t see any instructions for using the appliances. It wasn’t an issue but would be useful to have available.

Steep stairs and loose bannister still not fixed despite being mentioned previously. There is no soundproofing and you can hear every noise amplified which made for very restless nights

The house was extremely well located! We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go within 10 to 15 minutes. It was also a good size for four adults and a child. We had one full day of rain while we were in Bergen, and the house was large enough for us to not feel cramped while we waited out the storm.

The stairs to the second floor were very steep. My parents are older and were concerned about slipping and falling if they had to go downstairs during the night.

Very modern apartment, close to the city centre (walking distance). The beds/couch were really comfortable, and everything was clean. The owner was also nice and easy to contact.

The stairs are pretty steep and small, so keep that in mind if you are a person with disabilities.

Great location, very clean, nicely decorated, well equipped and perfect for family.

Stairs to sleeping area are extremely steep and railing is a bit loose. We stayed over wknd and there was lots of noise from partying / passerby at night.
