Bryggen Living

It was well situated in the older area of Bergen. The apartment was thoughtfully appointed with everything you need. The coffee machine was an added bonus and very much appreciated. I would also like to add that the owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Needs a blind in the small bedroom & the banister on the steep staircase is loose

Location was superb. Facilities were great except as indicated below. Clean, comfortable.

Stairs to 2nd floor bedroom were treacherous particularly with loose railing. Older adults should plan on staying in the beautiful downstairs aread.

Amazing location, great decor and super comfortable.

It can be a little noisy at night with the windows open. A blind is needed in the smaller, second bedroom.

A charming old wooden house in the Bryggen quarter with modern equipment. Very good coffee machine 😀. In the center (old port) in 10 minutes.

Being an old house, there is a steep stair to the qst floor (bedrooms). We had only light luggage, rucksacks, that was ok. It would be difficult to carry a large suitcase upstairs and even more so downstairs. Keep shoes with good adherence on for managing the stairs.

The accommodation was excellent. Comfortable beds and great facilities. Loved the artwork on the walls! The location was superb, really in the midst of the historic city.

A mirror in the main bedroom would have been useful. Also some hanging space as our trip was for a wedding so we had formal clothes with us. The stairs as commented by other guests are fairly steep but are entirely in keeping with the age/character of the property. They are very manageable.
