Amikales Rooms

The host, Michela and her friend were great. They met us at the apartment and gave us lots of information about what to see and do. They were only the second hosts on our trip around Italy to meet us in person and it's always a nice touch.

There was no sound proofing in the main bedroom. When anyone in the apartment above ran any water, it sounded like it was flowing into the bedroom. Also every time the garage door opened it was heard and felt within the bedroom. If we were to stay again, we would use the rear 'twin' bedroom in the hope this was quieter.

Very spacious. Great location. I recomend it for a small family.

The hosts are amazing, very helpful. The appartement is big, confortable beds.

Because it was raining the owners collected me from the station. They allowed me to leave my case until early afternoon the next day while I saw the sights. They were both utterly charming, and clearly very proud of the accommodation

My only tiny niggle was that there was no tourist information, no maps. I find it difficult to orient myself with Google maps so would have appreciated a hard copy.

Amazing, spacious apartment 3 minutes by walk from the Piazza Dei Signori! Inside there is everything what you need (kitchen utilities such as toaster and kettle, coffee, tea and some food). Everything is clean and aesthetic. Last but not least - the owners are so friendly and kind and there was no problem to leave the baggage after check out. Highly recommend this one!

A very cozy,, completely renovated apartment , very conveniently situated in a little street that leads directly to the Piazze, the beating heart of the city, threading its way along the facades of the old buildings, covered in jasmin trees and into the shade of the porticos typical of the local architecture. The apartment is spacious, impeccably clean, endowed with every comfort—a bathroom for each room, for example, a place for reading, working and why not? daydreaming by the windowsill—a large, inviting common area full of information about the city and its many attractions. Better still, the owners are always ready to provide said information, prove friendly and helpful every time you need them. You can walk every morning to see what’s new in the Piazza dei Signori, have your coffee under the colonnade, go look at the magnificent frescoes by Menabuoi in the Batisterio while the bells from the Duomo toll the end of the mass. At night you can walk to the opposite end of the street to check the season’s programme at the Teatro Verdi, enter its elegant lounge decorated in the 19th century imperial style, catch a dance show or a concert. Then wander off into the balmy night of the old city as long as you like before returning to the coolness of the Amikales rooms.
