Amikales Rooms

The apartment is very spacious, nicely furnished and not expensive. I stayed there for one week in July and it keeps out the heat completely. The hosts were absolutely helpful and charming! I arrived on a Sunday evening, and they had filled the fridge for me, so dinner was all set. They gave me a brief introduction to sights worth seeing, and they also gave me a nice present. Supermarkets are less than 10 mins away, and all places I wanted to visit were in walking distance.

All was perfect, couldn't ask for more :)

Michelo and her husband were on-site when we arrived. They allowed us to put in our luggages while they finish up the unit cleaning, as we arrived ~ 1.5 hours earlier than the 3 pm check in time. Her husband Alex also explained the places of interest in Padua with the photos displayed in the living area which is a good guide. The unit is of good size to house the four of us. It is very easy to walk around to the various sight see venues within the city area. I appreciate very much their friendliness and also recommendation of good restaurant for the afternoon while we wait to check in.

There was a power black-out in the unit the next morning and Alex was prompt to come investigate, followed by electrician check for the day. Root cause was to not on the kettle and aircondiontor at the same time. Hope this is fixed for future users. The washing machine's dryer function does not seem to work properly so we have to hang our clothes to dry in-door . Other than this the unit is comfortable to stay for 4 pax overall.

Good location for visiting the old centre, 10 minutes' walk. Comfortable, large apartment, very clean. kitchen pretty well equipped, good free wifi, small supermarket at 10 miutes' walk. 2 good bathrooms. Airco in living room and in one of the bedrooms. Basic ingredients available like oil, vinegar, salt, toasts, jam... We even received an electronic sanitizer as a gift. Very good contact by WhatsApp. He came personally to bring us the keys and give information about places to visit and restaurants. We appreciated the friendly and helpful hosts. Quiet street.

The disadvantage of being so close to the centre is that nearby car parking is expensive 3 euro per hour. Free street parking seldom available or just for 1 or 2 hours. At 15' walking is Parcheggio Prandina 1.40 euro per hour, Mon-Fri from 8:00 till 20:00 h. Few power points, some Italian style (3 pins). Power point in kitchen too close to water tap. No window in living room and one of the bedrooms, but still pleasant to stay.

A really beautiful apartment, host was super helpful meeting us early to allow us to leave our luggage. The apartment was spotless, modern and well equipped in a good location.

No natural light, but it wasn't a major deal, good location.

We arrived at 23.15 after storms & floods on the way, but the hosts - we had kept them updated - we there to meet us, charming & helpful. Sparkling clean comfortable apartment right in the heart of the old city - perfect for exploring. Can't recommend too highly
