Breakfast was lovely, with freshly made cake, croissants, breads, yogurts, and fresh fruit and juices. Cappuccino on request. Savory with eggs also available. Carlo was amazing and so welcoming. My husband was ill and he helped get him into a doctor. Carlo was concerned and extremely helpful. He brought me up to the rooftop and shared the incredible view over Bologna. Room had everything we needed and furnishings throughout were beautiful. Location is a short walk to most everything, and very quiet at night.

The only shortcoming might be the stairs, but Carlo helped with the luggage, so that was not a problem.

Carlo was the best host! His breakfasts were phenomenal, especially his eggs and Nutella. The room was very clean, had all we needed and had a super comfortable bed! Carlo made us dinner reservations, organized for us to get a driving permit so we could drive and park our car at his place and his wife made us Tiramisu! It was such a treat! We watched the beautiful sunset from Carlo’s terrace where he had a bottle of wine and snacks for us. I cannot recommend this property enough! We will definitely go back!!

Absolutely brilliant location.. Close to restaurants, cafés and city highlights. Very quiet during the evening and nights.. We had a large room with private terrace overlooking the Bologna rooftops Carlo our host is the best... The greatest sence of humor - and very helpful.. Recommending city highlights - restaurants etc. Delicious breakfast served every morning - every day with a new homemade speciality

It’s on a quiet street, but close to everything. Check in went smoothly, we just rang the bell and there the host was to give us the keys and help with the luggage. He gave a lot of good advice about attractions to visit and made us a great breakfast every day as well. One warning: lots of stairs, no lift.

Wir haben diese Unterkunft im Herzen Bolognas absolut geliebt ! Die Lage ist perfekt, so dass man alles schnell und fußläufig erreichen kann. Das Zimmer ist groß und die angrenzende Terrasse bietet einen wunderbaren Blick über Bologna. Das Frühstück ist lecker und reichhaltig und Carlo ist der absolut beste Gastgeber!

Absolutely perfect. This place is in a charming old apartment building and our room had a lovely balcony with beautiful views over the roofs of Bologna. Possibly the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel and the location was fantastic-close to everything. The best part was Carlo who gave us inside information on the main attractions and gave the place character! We would love to come back and stay for longer next time.

This is a special place to stay in a very historic building. The location is perfect halfway between the trace train station and the historic center of town, walkable to both. However, the most special thing about this place is the host Carlo who makes you feel like an old family friend. The breakfast is excellent and Carlo will customize it to your preferences. Rooms are spacious, and ours included a beautiful patio with views of the city.

Das B&B ist absolut empfehlenswert: Die Lage ist super zentral, sodass alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Der Service vor Ort ist exzellent – Carlo, der Gastgeber, ist ein echtes Original und sorgt mit seinem Insiderwissen für einen individuell abgestimmten Aufenthalt und hilfsbereit in allem. Seine Tipps, was in Bologna wirklich sehenswert ist und worauf man getrost verzichten kann, sind Gold wert. Auch kulinarisch haben wir dank Carlos Empfehlungen grossartig gegessen und typische Spezialitäten entdeckt – abseits der klassischen Touristenpfade. Das Highlight ist definitiv die riesige Terrasse mit einem fantastischen Ausblick über die Dächer von Bologna, wo wir entspannt Aperitifs geniessen konnten. Insgesamt eine charmante Unterkunft mit herzlicher Gastfreundschaft, historischem Ambiente und einmaligem Panorama – besser geht es nicht!
