Lovely Palermo

The bed was so comfortable, we had the best sleep of our travels around Sicily! The terrace was also lovely which we enjoyed sitting on in the warm evenings. Lastly, the staff were fantastic and allowed us to check in a few hours early so we didn’t need to carry our bags around on our first day in Palermo - much appreciated!

The coffee machine malfunctioned, and it would be nice to have an ironing board and / or washing machine (we were aware of this when we booked but it would improve the offering at the property). Lastly, part of the view from the terrace was lovely, looking onto the mountains, but the other part was not very nice, looking into a construction site and car dealership - no fault of the apartment owners!

The host was very friendly and helpful! They made sure I was comfortably set up and even let me check-in early without extra fee.

The apartment is bright, new, and comfortable. So spacious and the ACs worked so well. The terrace has great views. We loved it to be honest.

Some parts of the apartment are still in the process of being finished. There was a construction site quite close but it didn't bother us at all. A lot of white dust after the construction as the apartment is very new!

Location is convenient and has free parking. Host was helpful.

The huge balcony which is used to advertise this place is not in the booked superior suite which we were expecting. Floors were dusty as there was dust under the bed that was moving a lot due to wind. Had a couple of issues with electricity running out for a short time. Bathrooms were only equipped with hand soap, toilet paper and towels.

The place was beautiful, clean, modern and very comfortable. The walk in wardrobe was especially helpful to make us feel at home and easily pack and unpack our bags. The balcony was also very nice. Part of the view was a construction yard, but the other part was a spectacular view of the mountain and a castle. The hosts were awesome and helped us with local recommendations and directions for transport. This was by far the best place that we stayed at out of 4 hotels.

The only power point that would take my European adapter was in the bathroom, all of the others were too small. However, I experienced this in many places throughout Sicily - not just this apartment. You do have to walk up quite a few stairs to access the penthouse apartment and it was difficult with heavy bags, but worth it.
