Hostel Tampa, 15 minutes to airport, near Ybor City, downtown, self check-in

The property is very clean and quiet.

Pas facile à trouver, pas de renseignements extérieurs, juste un code pour entrer, obligé de téléphoner mais réponse rapide

The only real issue I had was the temperature. It was a bit warm for my taste. Aside from that it was very close to down town. The facility was clean and the other tenants were quiet and respectful. The proprietor was there when I arrived and was a nice woman. If the need arises again I would utilize the facility. I have a back issue and needed a low bed, but it was a little too low like 6in off the floor. There was only the one bed this way and I booked at the last min? So over all I thought the place was worth the money. This is Florida maybe turn up the A/C to at lease 70 degrees please

Temperature and my bed was a bit too low. It really didn’t matter though I was only there to sleep and go to work.

It was easy to get in, the place had everything I needed to rest after a long trip. The parking spot is right in front of the house, so that was very convenient. Thank you!

Was not allowed in by someone the Rooster Hostel now refers to as a guest. Property description is not at all accurate. Demographics of neighborhood are a safety concern. Property unsafe- Backyard totally fenced in, leaving back exit you must return to front yard through two padlocked gates on either side of property. Essentially one exit in case of emergency- the front door. I have filed a complaint with the Tampa Fire Department and they are investigating. Investigation can be reviewed by general public, for your own safety.

Bookings.com refused to return my two- day payment for my reservation. I never set foot in Hostel due to a visible safety issues from outside. Bookings.com should be doing a better job of screening property's it refers guests to. Tampa is investigating and doing Bookings.com's due diligence.
