Westwood Lodge

Sehr großzügige Räume, sauber und auch gepflegt im Gebäudeinneren (allgemeiner und Zimmerbereich)

Ein Zimmersafe hat mir gefehlt; Die Außenanlagen bzw. -bereiche (allgemeiner und Zimmerbereich) sind schon in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr gepflegt.

We weren’t given the rooms we had booked and paid for

Breakfast was basic but good. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. It was great having the pool table.

The public areas were great but nobody was about - the place was dead.a

Breakfast was not good. Eggs awful., portions small. Definitely not good Breakfast !

The wooden lodge is lovely with great views of the snow peaks, even in December. Room size quite good, we stayed in Coach house. Location slightly away from the town bit we had a car so was not a big issue.

Mixed feelings about service. Before we arrived, they were quite friendly and helped us to even book a.dinner for Christmas evening, that was very well. One morning, we had booked an early glacier experience so requested for just cereals and milk to be kept aside so we could help ourselves in the morning. But they simply refused!

Actually better than expected - warm welcome and very convenient as a short stay.

It has a lovely lounge area but no bar or restaurant so its an empty space with no atmosphere. They could do so much more with this place.

Dead spider in the bed. Looked like it had seen much better days. Dated, shabby and musty. TV had two channels that hardly worked.
