Club Wyndham Shirakabaso Shigakogen

It was peaceful with a lovely view. Very near the bus stop that brings you to the other ski areas. Food was good!

Very nicely renovated hotel, modernized bathroom/shower and very comfortable futon mattresses in Japanese style rooms. Staff were incredibly nice. Our family enjoyed the buffet food for breakfast and dinner. We also loved the ski/snowboard rental in the basement — very easy to get your rentals and very nice lockers and heated boot lockers to keep your items. Incredibly convenient and we also enjoyed the ping pong table, public and private onsens, and draft beers at the bar (thanks Pierre!). Pierre also helped us set up snowboard lessons with Shiga International Ski School. About an 8 minute drive to Ichinose Family, since we went in April when the lift across the street was already closed for the season.

Lovely location near the ski resorts and snow monkeys park. Nice breakfast and dinner, and great service by the staff. Our room was ckmfortable and clean with nice views of the snow and woods.

The hotel itself is dated. Onsens, loby, and corridors are somwhat gleam. The washing machines and dryers were not very efficient.

Beautiful property. Delightful staff. Scrupulously clean. Wonderful onsens on site. Excellent meals. Good central location.

The meals were excellent. However after 3 nights the food at the buffet became a little repetitive.
