NZThe property was simply phenomenal. Peaceful, and quiet, yet not too far from amenities, such as the ferry. It was farmland, yet still had a fresh smell to the place. The running stream behind the property was so peaceful. The hosts: incredible, endless hospitality and so thoughtful. They provided us with some avocadoes from their trees, and also, when the bbq ran out of gas, they responded to our text near-immediately, and brought another gas tank over within 15mins - the leg of lamb was saved. The property itself is bigger than the photos show (honestly, the photos don't do the place justice!). The extra room converted into a lounge with bean bags just expands the place out bigger than most similar properties we've been too. We cannot recommend this place more!

GBCHGreat spacious cottage away from everything, also away from the host's house. But just a few minutes drive to Cooks Beach. We could see the milky way as there is no light pollution around.

First impressions: arriving to a pot of half dead herbs and cobwebs over outdoor area, not the best. Suggest the extra large electric frypan be replaced with a small hob. Maybe time for a new mattress?
NZBeautiful little cottage in an amazing location. Loved the large deck space and sounds of the river outside, perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. I would definitely stay here again!
