Kanuka Cottage

We loved the location, hearing the stream nearby and having a little lounge to sit and watch a DVD at night was fun. It was lovely finding some fresh produce in the fruit bowl on arrival and the welcome email with links to local attractions was much appreciated. Cotton sheets make for a good nights sleep.

Cottage was clean very warm and comfortable, nice bedding and lovely deck to sit outside and enjoy the country

Amazing location in the centre of nature, quite and relaxed! Related to previous comments: WIFI isn't necessary. Get out and enjoy!

It was so comfortable and clean, great location.

No WiFi it caused problems contacting family in Auckland, as we are from Scotland 😥

Rural location was quiet and peaceful.

Kitchen only had electric fry pan. Not much for cooking but we made it work. Have to drive to the beach by car but coming home to country setting was nice. Stars were amazing at night! Kitty is nice but she can be temperamental.

The location is perfect, the cottage itself was very cute and cosy and the hosts left a lovely note and some essentials (milk, tea, coffee pods) which were greatly appreciated!

Although the cat was extremely cute and we didn’t mind it hanging around the cottage for a lot of our stay, it meowed all night long for two nights wanting to come in which was a little annoying as we knew we couldn’t let it inside. Also it would have made it an even better stay with some comfier chairs/couch as we felt like we didn’t have a comfy place to sit and relax other than the bed. In saying that, we still absolutely loved the place and wouldn’t hesitate in going back!!
