The host was excellent and really made us feel as if we had a home away from home. He was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, abundant, and included fresh home made items. The place was very well cared for and very clean. We would definitely go back.

Room was very comfortable and generous in size. Host lived on site, which we appreciated. He was very friendly and accommodating. Gave good parking suggestions (which can be a bit challenging in Ortigia) and thoughtful restaurant recommendations. Location very convenient, within the historic centre, but on a quiet side street. Very nice breakfast served on lovely roof terrace.

Due to the location of this property we needed to park some distance away which of course was more challenging dealing with our luggage. Also, like with many places we stayed in Italy, we had to carry our suitcases up a flight of stairs. We were happy that we travel reasonably lightly, but for people with larger, heavier luggage or with physical disabilities, this can be a challenge. These are details that guests should be made aware of.

The host Federico was friendly, informative and just a joy to speak to. He provided immediate responses to our queries. Extra mugs for tea and even added some flowers and fruit to our room for our wedding anniversary. Room was spacious and clean! Everything was to a high standard.

Only thing was that the breakfast wasn't great for us. My wife and I don't eat any pork but the breakfast tray included ham and salami (pork) and there was no alternative. We enjoyed the yogurt, nuts and fruit. Coffee was really good too.

Parking is expensive in Ortigia

Great option for Ortigia and highly recommended. Very central location, a 10 min walk from public car park, 15 Euro for 24 hours (only residents parking in Ortigia proper). Frederico our host is an excellent communicator and ensured I had all the relevant information I needed before getting there. Room is huge including a lovely big bathroom and nicely presented, a light breakfast was included. I’d highly recommend this place for your stay if you’re coming to beautiful Ortigia

The only minor thing I can think of is having a holder of the wall to put the shower head on, otherwise it was a flawless stay and the host was absolutely stand out!

El lugar te invita a relajarte y descansar, por ambientación y música. El variado y rico desayuno en la terraza es un buen ejemplo. La calidez y atención del anfitrión Federico fueron excelentes. Estuvo atento a todos los detalles. La habitación era amplia, la heladera un poco chica para una botella de vino y Federico la cambió por otra heladera un poco más grande. Genial ! Volvería al mismo lugar sin dudarlo! .
