Zaffiro Bianco

The view was amazing, the location as well. Nice and clean room. Good communication with the owner. A lot of equipment available to make your life easier (coffee machine,washing machine etc)

The only bad point is the sofa bed ( it is not confortable to sleep and doesn't fit two persons)

Portable a/c was nice to have but was still warm.. I would not blame host…it’s just the way [Old] buildings are. Bed was a bit too stiff. However, I found that to be the case even at family homes in Italy.

The only disadvantage of staying at Zaffiro Bianco? You might not want to go outside, but stay in all day to enjoy the magnificent view. The apartment is located perfectly in a quiet environment, walking distance from the old city center, nice restaurants and a big supermarket. The apartment offers everything you need and the communication with the owner was perfect. Would recommend this place 11/10

We had the most unpleasant experience at this place. The accommodation was widely advertised as being fully equipped with "air conditioning" -- which was the main reason why we chose it during this hot Italian summer of 2022. However, when we came in, no air conditioning was in sight. As the apartment is on the top floor right under the roof, the temperature was unbearable (+- 38 °C/100°F). When we enquired with the apartment owner where the AC was, she "offered out of courtesy" to provide us with a "machine" supposedly aimed at cooling the accommodation. But this machine was as ineffective as it was noisy. First, it could only be placed in one of the three rooms of the appartement. We placed it in the bedroom, while the two other rooms remained as hot as before. Second, this "machine" totally failed to bring the temperature in the bedroom any lower - we even recorded during the night that the room temperature was still 32 °C/89,6 °F. Third, the noise that came in from this machine was awful - just like the continuous roar of a motorcycle. We complained with the apartment owner, who turned a complete deaf ear on us. We could not stay in the apartment because of the scorching heat, and we had to leave prematurely. We advise by all means to stay away from this terrible place, deceitfully presented, and from this crooked apartment owner.
