The owner was very kind and helpful. We had trouble finding the location since google maps doesn’t work very well there and he picked us up with his car. The room was very clean and once we knew the location it was very easy to get everywhere on foot. If you go there leave extra time for breakfast since they serve it homemade and it adds to an authentic experience

At first the neighbourhood seemed kind of scary due to the lack of lights but in reality it’s very safe.

Run by a wonderful family with 4 daughters and 1 energetic little boy. Excellent daily breakfast. The father gave us a free pick-up at the train station, and arranged a taxi for us to the Tajikistan border upon departure. We had Room #1, which is highly recommended, with a nice window looking onto the Amir Timur Mausoleum situated very close by. Great location, easy walking distance to the Registan. An excellent and affordable nearby restaurant is The Boulevard.

The location is fabulous. This is very good - no thrills - value for money. The breakfast is sumptuous and the ladies running the place super friendly.

The location is perfect and close to everything in Samarkand. The place is super clean, quiet, and really comfortable. What stood out the most was the hospitality. Breakfast was also delicious and varied every day. I had a really nice time time and felt very welcome.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. One of the highlights was the amazing rooftop terrace, which offered stunning views that we enjoyed every evening. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

Amazing hosts that went the extra mile by providing breakfast the date of arrival, taking us to the station and make us feel like home . There are great views from the terrace, the breakfast is delicious and is in a great location.

Excellent location, very clean room. Good variety of breakfast. Communication was really good. Hosts were very generous and kind. They organised taxis for my friends and I to visit particular sites. I will certainly be staying here again when I visit next time.

The essence of hospitality, the owner - a soul - took care of us, fed us like a mother with the best, took care of cleanliness and comfort and always went out of his way to meet our expectations!

This is not really a hotel in a traditional sense, but more of a guest house or home stay. The owner family are the nicest most genuine people you will meet in Uzbekistan. The father is a kind and friendly man who will do his absolute best to do anything he can for you. His daughter helps serve breakfast and help me by translating my English. The wife/mother works tirelessly in the back ground, and will still smile and make you feel welcome. I could not thank them enough for being such excellent hosts and leaving me with very fond memories of the Uzbek people. Additionally: the breakfast is great and the place is very close to Gur-i Amir mausoleum (literally over the wall) and Registan is easy walking distance as well. The only place I personally found a bit too far away was the Observatory of Ulugbek. The rest I walked to, but I’m happy walking. They have a nice terrace up top that you can enjoy the views of Gur-i Amir.

Really nice family run guesthouse located 30 meters from the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum - probably one of the most charming locations to stay in Samarkand. Basic but spotless clean rooms in a neutral western decor style. The family running the place are very kind and helpfull and prepare a nice home made traditional breakfast. There is a roof top terrasse from where you can enjoy tea and a close view of the Gur-e-Amir dome illuminated after dark. Highly recommended place for those seeking a good value for money midrange hotel perfectly located.
