Riverside Homestay

Lovely place overlooking a river, very quiet. Room was perfect with a great view of crop fields. Very clean and comfortable. Access very simple by bus from Cao Bang.

Location is great, overall great Be careful though if you book rooms, the upstairs room are not the most comfy for western people but it’s still a room (can be a bit noisy)

Toilets and showers could be cleaned more often

It was easy to find and in a good location. The receptionist was friendly. Food was ok

The difference between the full set and the vegetarian set was one plate of beef but the price was almost double. There was a list of rules in reception including don't make noise after 10pm. There was a very noisy family with kids staying on our floor - nobody told them to be quiet - neither parents no hotel staff. The rooms on the second floor were also very hot!. Food was ok

The location is great, very quiet and beautiful surroundings. The room is very cheap.

For that price you should not expect much. The bed is very hard, the common bathrooms were very dirty but we only stayed one night so we just did not shower.

The location on the river compensates for the dirty bathrooms. All the rest is great value for money. Staff is amazing!!!!!

The place is beautiful, the room is big, the price is really afordable.

The rooms are not fully close in the ceiling so you can hear everything, also doesnt have any furniture to put your things, the bathrooms didnt have any soap or paper all the time, also a bit dirty.

Stunning location, great for sunrise photography over the river. Loved the outdoor shelters for eating or relaxing. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Our friend stayed in the main building which looked like it was work in progress but it was very clean and quiet too.The accommodation is set in a very peaceful area and wasn’t at all busy in early March. We swam in the river just along the path and rode the back roads to the waterfall which is only a short distance away. Hosts are very welcoming and looked after us well. Can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with this one!
