Riverside Homestay

The staff was so nice and helpful. The location is quite amazing and sooo peaceful.

Due to how the rooms are made you hear everything from the other rooms as if they were in the same room as you. You get all the light from their room too. Two nights in a raw I had to undergo two groups who were so disrespectful and acted like they were the only one and didn’t care and respect other guests. I recommend that you book the individual rooms in the cottages if you want a decent night.

We stayed spontaneously after arriving for a visit of the Ban Gioc waterfalls. The hotel is embedded in the rice fields and next to the river. The views are great. They have enough parking space and staff was very kind to allow us to park our motor bikes right infront our little bungalow. Since the hotel is not directly next to the main road, it was very quiet at night.

The bathroom offers room for improvement. It smelled a bit and we had a cockroach in our room which must have entered through the shower drain. The water takes ages to heat up as it does not have a flow type boiler.

Beautiful quiet location, super sweet family working. I arrived after dark but the sunset would have been amazing from the garden. They offered to cook food but I decided to scooter into the village for dinner so I didn’t try any of the cooking.

Room has the potential to get chilly in the colder Months as it isn’t completely closed to the outside I was cold before bed but they gave me a nice thick blanket.

Perfect stay to visit the Ban Gioc waterfalls. Big rooms and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff Good location with beautiful views to rice fields near the river
