Jumaboy Guesthouse - Transport, Rooms & Hiking Tours

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hosts are a wonderful family who care about their guests and work really hard to take care of everyone. The property is pleasantly green and shady, with fruit trees, a vegetable garden, and flowers. There are many private places to read or relax outside. There's even a bucket with cold beverages set out every evening, so you can have a "happy hour" without having to bring your own drinks. There was also a bread making class/demonstration and they have an ecological methane project that their cow participates in :) We stayed for several nights and made this place our base to explore the 7 Lakes area (we were on motorcycles, and it's fun to ride there, but you can also hike or the owner can get you a car ride). We recommend staying here!

C’est calme, bonne ambiance et propre, traditionnel vibe. Mise à part les lacs, vous pouvez aussi visiter les montagnes alentours prendre des cours de cuisine. Enfin bref il y a plein de choses à faire. Et la famille est super cool.

Very nice and "central" location - ideal for hiking up to the 7th lake and further. Muslim was very attentive and helpful. Garden of this guesthouse felt like a paradise. Facilities were basic but sufficient. Arranged transport back for 60 somoni per person at 6 am saved us a lot of time. We definitely recommend to visit this place!

Free breakfast could be more filling and include some vegetable. Problems with electricity supply and internet are not a fault of the guesthouse, but are something to be counted on when going here. Still a place worth paying a visit! (One more thing: we were asked to rate this place as "10/10" repeatedly - not doing so could also enhance the overall experience, and eventually result in rating this place as "10/10" genuinely).

The service is very proactive, they will do the utmost to cater to your needs. They can arrange transport to and from the guesthouse, tours and meals and probably a lot more. While the facilities are modest by western standards, they are more than adequate and the service level is through the roof :)

We really loved our time at Jumaboy. The food is fresh and made with homegrown vegetables. The beds are comfortable and clean. The service is impeccable and Muslim helped us organise return transport from the Uzbek border super smoothly. All in all an amazing, calm, guesthouse :) Also, location is epic to hike from the 4th to the 7th lakes and back in a day.

An excellent place to stay to access walking around the 7 lakes. We stayed in the room with the private shower, it had heaps of room and a hot shower, not only this but our meals were served in a separate spot down in the garden with the creek running next to it., very nice and relaxing. Muslim is the organisational soul of the place and individually caters to each of his guests with very good English . A lovely place

The property was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the food was delicious. Muslim was super helpful and did his best to make sure everything went smoothly. Once I booked, I messaged about transport and he promptly started a WhatsApp conversation to explain our options. And even though I only booked the night before, he was able to arrange private transport for us from the border to the guesthouse, and then onwards to Dushanbe.

the owner is really nice person, he speaks English/Russian/Tajik so no problem with communication, excellent food (veggie, milk etc.) cooked directly from their garden ...
