The hostel offers a wide range of tours that can be booked directly on site, which is very convenient. The staff is generally available to answer questions, and there is plenty of information about onward transportation. The chill area is nice and creates a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, the concept of the hostel and the additional services seem well thought out.

Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our stay. Before arriving, I sent a message asking whether a vegan breakfast would be possible. The reply was: “Hi, don’t worry, we offer 7 different breakfast options, one for each day.” On the first day, asked again about the vegan possibilities. On the second day, we were told breakfast would be crepes with cheese and sugar filling. After reminding them (for the third time) that we are vegan, the response was: “Only a little cheese?” We then asked to remove the cheese and ended up with egg-based crepes with cinnamon and sugar. On the third day, after mentioning for the fourth time that we are vegan, we finally received a proper vegan breakfast. By that point, however, we felt somewhat not taken seriously. I really don't want to be the person who is so fussy, but when I write a message beforehand to ask, and then we are offered breakfast with eggs, milk, and cheese several times, it's kind of bitter. We also used the laundry service and received our clothes back with, genuinely, more stains than before. The information provided about onward transport can be misleading, as the prices mentioned are per person, and backpacks often cost extra. At checkout, we were almost overcharged by 19 USD. Only after we recalculated the amount ourselves was it corrected and labeled as a “mistake“… Additionally, the rooms are very stuffy. The windows face directly toward the kitchen and toilets, making it noisy, lacking privacy, and sometimes unpleasant due to smells. The sinks in the restrooms are all very loose, and you're afraid you'll rip them out of the wall.

Estaban realizando trabajos de remodelacion cuando llegue y estaba un poco sucio y hacían un poquito ruido.

Hostel avec une ambiance très sympa. Salle commune bien aménagée. Cuisine équipée. Très propre et bien entretenu. Sécurisé. Chambre simple, literie ok, ventilateur. Personnel très sympathique, toujours disponible. Emplacement parfait, à quelques minutes du marché (et supermarché Pali) et du parque central. Wifi très bon. Excellent rapport qualité prix, surtout qu'il y a un petit déjeuner servi chaque matin, café et eau à disposition.

On a loupé la nouvelle terrasse et la piscine de peu, dommage ;) Mais on reviendra !
