Such a nice, chill place with excellent value for money. It’s peaceful and relaxing, well located in town, and has a delicious breakfast (different every morning!). Omar is super kind and helpful. Highly recommend it.

room a bit dark and very hot

I quite enjoyed my time at Deakachimba and found the staff, amenities and location to be quite up to scratch. Boons: - a free breakfast of different varieties. It is uncommon in this era to receive any form of complimentary benefit so the inclusion of a nutritious breakfast in the price is most welcome. - fine bonhomie was on show from all the staff - located in the middle of Granada. Even a lazy person can walk to the square in mere minutes - all the facilities worked - thank The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost for the fan. The highest setting is your majesterial gust that fans away the hellish boiling air of the tropics. - my soiled linens were laundered for a reasonable fee - tours of nearby natural wonders, and man-made features and events, were easily arranged with the bloke behind the desk Many thank yous, regards and well wishes

La ubicación.

La habitación con baño privado no tiene ventanas, solo una rendija encima de la puerta, me dio bastante claustrofobia. Las zonas comunes son bastante reducidas. El desayuno es escueto.

Moises and Omar run a smooth operation. It was very clean and we saw zero bugs! They are welcoming, available, pleasant and helpful in all ways: helping us upgrade to a room with a/c, in understanding our options in tours, in sorting out a confusion with a driver. A simple but filling breakfast was provided every day. This is a hostel in a hot climate. It will be hot. You do not need hot water in the shower. Both backpacker type travelers and us older folks seeking a bit more comfort are accommodated. The location was so perfect for accessing the sights and restaurants in Granada. We happened upon two nights of dance performances in the main square, all free and felt like a real local celebration.

Only that some fruit would have been a nice addition to the breakfast. The room was a bit snug. We are glad we upgraded to a room with an extra bed for surface to put suitcases.
