Mookdaman Bungalow

Modest and tidy bungalow, great location! A minute's walk to the beach, nice restaurants around. Pasai beach also within walking distance.

This holiday home was supposed to come with 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom. It didn't. There was only a bedroom and bathroom. The hostess claimed they didn't have bigger bungalows at all, so some kind of refund would be appreciated...

5 mins from beach..good location

Great location close to the beach and in the middle of a very nice well kept garden with lots of flowers. The owners are very nice and offer breakfast and dinner as well. We also rented a scooter for a day which enabled us to see other nice places on the island as well.

The location was very convenient, set back from the road. Plenty of good places to eat nearby, also massage next door. Optional boat trip organised by Ying, our host. All very simple and all the better for not being too over-developed and touristy like much of Phuket

Great location by the beach.

Room was quite old and dirty. Not cleaned everyday. There was no toiletries except one small soap. Moskito net with holes and dirty (lots of moskitos in the room). Very bad stuff, There was noone in the hotel for the whole day and we didn’t have any contact with anyone. The owners run the only shop in neighbourhood but it was also closed, so it was even hard to get some water. We wanted to rent a bike (what by the way is very expensive there - two bikes more expensive than scooter) but there was no one we could ask about it. At the end when we refused to buy the ferry ticket from the owner, she told intentionaly our driver to take us to the different pier on the other side of the island, from which there was no ferry to the place we wanted to go.

We had a lovely bungalow with a balcony and sea glimpses through the trees. It was close to a lovely beach and the room was spotlessly clean. The owners were absolutely lovely and super helpful for hiring motor scooters, getting laundry done and cooking delicious meals for dinner. We really loved the spacious bungalow with good air-conditioning. Highly recommended island to visit, think Thailand 20 years ago.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Comfortable bungalow, 2 minutes' walk from the beach. V friendly, welcoming and helpful manager/owner. Beach was quiet, only ever a few people. Shop and restaurant on-site. Plenty of other good restaurants and cafes nearby. Tables on the beach. A lovely place. I will come again.
