Streamside Geodome

The accomodation was so unique and stunning

the neighboring farm was doing some construction work

This was such a beautiful zen space, an escape into a wonderland. Glamping at its finest. We had challenging weather, the icy wind howled…showering was a struggle…but we were able to snuggle in the geodome with electric blankets and great books; bit like being in an igloo I imagine, only warmer. Remember, this is glamping so don’t expect a hotel…rather it’s a magical and unique experience I want to return to again and again…

The property exceeded well beyond our expectations! It was the perfect location for a little romantic getaway and very secluded. Although the roofing was open in area's in the lounging area, no rain fell through at all and we could enjoy the fire throughout the night and be kept very cosy! The amenities were perfect and the added hot water bottles, gas heater and fan were a super bonus in the room. This was really a 5/5 star stay! Would highly recommend!

There is nothing really to complain about - the only thing I would mention is that there was a heavy downpour and some rainy hours during our stay where we noticed the fireplace in the lounge had a small trickle running down the pipe from the ceiling into the fire but this didn't stop us from having the best time.

I loved the bathroom, it's beautifully designed and the deck was really amazing 😍 and I loved hearing the sounds of the stream, truly a good way to fall asleep at night.

You have everything at your disposal which you may require for a few nights stay. The location is excellent, very private and the setting amongst the mountains is breathtaking. This is a great place to relax and get away from work and enjoy nature. The small river flowing past the house provides constant "white noise" contributing to ultimate relaxation.

We had difficulties with the outside shower. It seems like the gas geyser switches off on its own or is insufficient to provide enough constant hot water to enjoy a hot shower in winter outside in the cold. This has caused us a few cold showers during cold mornings and evenings.
