Small, uncomfortable, parking far away. If you have luggage and kids it’s a wrong choice. There’s a potential danger due wildlife (lots of moose) especially if you have kids.

The houses are very cozy, clean and well-equipped!

Beautiful area with chalet located in the woods! Nice new construction and the place was spotless!! Modern and well maintained! Lovely place and worth the visit!! I highly recommend this place for all of the reasons you want!

Excellent place for vacation, we could have stayed there for a few more days had we kew in advance how great it will be. Beautiful and well kept and great hosts extremely communicative and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Da wir vor einigen Jahren bereits in Anchorage waren, haben wir uns diesmal bewusst für eine Unterkunft in der Natur entschieden, die dennoch gut erreichbar bleibt. Diese Wahl hat sich absolut gelohnt. Wir verbrachten drei wunderbare Tage im BlueWater BaseCamp und konnten direkt von der Unterkunft aus herrliche Wanderungen unternehmen. Die freundlichen Besitzer stellten uns sogar kostenlos Bärenspray für die Dauer unseres Aufenthalts zur Verfügung — ein großartiger Service, der uns ein zusätzliches Gefühl von Sicherheit gab. Das Chalet war modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen — wenn die Anreise aus Deutschland nicht so weit wäre. Aber wer weiß: Man soll ja bekanntlich niemals nie sagen!

Ein Toaster für unsere morgendlichen Bagels wäre schön gewesen.
