The property is a residential community with most apartments being rent out to tourists. The pool is a highlight and nice common area.

The room does not get cleaned every day and only one roll of toilet paper

Perfect condo bedroom/kitchen and nice bathroom. A small patio. Well equipped. Clean. But best of all, a lovely pool and leisure area, gym and laundry room. Very comfortable. 15 mins walk to the town restaurants alo g a rough unmade road. The area is still being developed. We felt safe walking. Far from the beaches. I ran daily to the hotel zone beaches, about 5 miles. Could use colectivo transport.

Beautiful, modern apartment with outdoor seating among palm trees. Exceptionally large swimming pool, with jakuzzi, great spaces for conversations, work or meetings.

Access roads, apart from one, are difficult to drive with a standard car: unpaved with deep potholes, unlit. Very poor water supply, water pressure often changing from normal to barely running, hot water constantly disappearing

Modern style, great pool and common area, has a gym for guests. Room is nice and modern

- No WiFi in room, communicated to property manager and no response - shower smells like rotten eggs for first 30 seconds - Small ant like insects all over the kitchen surface - Power shut off for 8-9 hours without warning - water shut off twice on separate days, when we were rushing to checkout

Beautiful hotel

A lot of mosquitoes in the room and the road to the city center is very unpaved, unlit at night, there’s a lot of stray dogs that get a bit aggressive

The pool was clean and great size. The room has a well equipped kitchen with a toaster etc.. It wasn’t party place so felt relaxing in the day and evening. There are full size washing and dryer facilities to do your washing, as well as a great gym upstairs if that’s what you are into!

It felt unfinished. Firstly it’s in the middle of nowhere, the roads have pot holes and it’s essentially a dirt track so by car or bike is tricky. There is no lights on the outside of the property, I think a small addition which would be really helpful are some lights on the walls around the outside for people walking in the dark. The shower smelt of sulphur most days, when messaging the host on the first day we were told this is ‘normal’, and although it might not be harmful it’s really unpleasant and shouldn’t be “normal”. Our room was A1, closest to the front of the building and every night for hours on end there were dogs barking - non stop - and this was driving us crazy as we could not sleep at all. We understood that dogs outside of the facilities can’t fully be dealt with, however this dog was on the property and about 25 yards from our door. When we asked the gentlemen on reception if there is anything he could, since there is 24 hour security, do he shrugged and started telling us about some Mexican myth to do with dogs and spirits they see.. this did not help of course.

The pool is nice

This 'hotel' was missold on several levels. 1) It was an independently owned condo, the hotel staff were unable to provide me access to the condo and I had to use my data to contact the of site owner for a key code. This was not made clear before my stay 2) At no point during our stay was the room cleaned, towels replaced, toilet roll restocked, etc 3) The website suggests this hotel has two restaurants and a bar. No such facilities exist 4) The smell from the bathroom drain when using the shower was strong to the point of nauseating 5) The website advertises sports facilities including Diving, snorkelling and fishing. No such facilities exist. 6) The website advertises spa facilities including massages. No such facilities exist. 7) The website advertises yoga classes. No such classes exist. 8) The website offers a welcome drink, no such drink was offered. Instead I had security demanding to know what my room number was, despite the fact I was clearly there to check in.

The pool, common area, free bike rentals, gym, laundry are all great amenities.

The location is in the middle of a slum. All roads out are unpaved and very rough. Big holes, large rocks and mud puddles after it rains. It makes getting to and from the Pueblo or the beach at night very questionable. I don’t know if there are problems with crime at night, but I could believe it. Get a copy of the rules for the free bikes. If you don’t turn them in by 10pm each day there is a 25% of deposit fee.

There are no restaurants inside. No bar on site. In town. Lots of construction. No towels, toilet paper after you use 2 original.
