Beautiful accommodation, quiet and clean, with a huge pool area to seat and relax or work. The apartment comes with a little terrace and a kitchen to prepare food with a fridge and all needed utensils (microwave, pans, etc). The area is safe and 10 minutes by foot from the center. The staff (Mauricio) is very friendly and helps with anything you need. I enjoyed my stay here and will gladly come again!

Ophelia has a very quiet and convenient location to town and beaches. Perfect place for solo travelers that search for a peaceful place to stay. Mauricio the manager was also very helpful with all the questions.

I feel the apartment I had could have better linens and kitchen utensils.

It was quite close to the city centre, although the location of the hotel was in a rather poor district. The pool was great, the gym was a great convenience and you can do your laundry and dry your clothes comfortably. The room was spacious, everything you need was there, the beds where also quite comfortable. The owner of our unit was also very nice to us, tried to resolve the issues we came to him with.

The issue I have mentioned concerned cockroaches. A lot of them in the unit. They were there every time we came back to the hotel: on the bed, in the kitchen, on our clothes. The owner proposed changing the room, but I think it would be the same.I think you can expect some bugs in Mexico, but every day we had to kill about 20 of them . We bought RAID and it helped a bit but it was difficult to relax. But that was the only problem to be honest.

It’s a nice complex of privates apartments. Area was really good. Staff was friendly and helpful. You also can rent a bike for free. There’re plenty of options for workspace so it’s good for work life balance

So as it’s complex of apartments, you have to deal any problems with the owner of your apartment. For example, if you don’t have hot water, you need to contact the landlord directly. Staff can’t help with it. Your stay at Ophelia could be so different because it it’s dependent on your landlord. We stayed for 8 days and we didn’t have cleaning. I asked for fresh towels, and landlord replied that I can make laundry on the base of place. It’s not smth critical bad, but when I booked apartment at Ophelia, I was expecting some service. We didn’t have extra garbage bags, I Asked landlord, I didn’t get it to the end. Location: thats really far away from the beach. If you wanna stay here you probably need to rent a car or bike. Also 20 min by walk to the grocery store. Next time I’d rather book smth closer to the beach, even if it’s more expensive.

The shower water isn’t filtered, it’s salty. The location is far from the beach and hotel zone. And taxis are very expensive. There isn’t local transportation at all

Be careful! They pretend to have free bikes that you can use anytime but then they charged us for it when we brought them back. The girl at the reception called a guy called Jorge that talk to us on the phone as if this little f was the mexican Pablo Escobar and told us we had to pay for the bikes to get out ID and deposit back. Other than that they are pretty useless if you need anything. Also there’s cockroaches coming out of the shower hole, they have electricity cuts non stop, wifi is terrible and good luck accessing the hotel without a 4x4 or a dirt bike.
