The location was absolutely great. We had two days of peace and quite to relax and unwind. A super welcome basket at the door as we entered. The hosts and the farm animals were very welcoming. Cannot recommend it enough

Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf bij Goodluck Homestead. Wat deze plek voor ons echt bijzonder maakte, was hoe persoonlijk en sfeervol het huisje was ingericht. Het voelde totaal niet als een standaard, praktische vakantiewoning, maar echt als een warme en fijne plek om te verblijven. Daarnaast was alles brandschoon en leek werkelijk overal aan gedacht. Bij aankomst stonden er zelfs verse producten uit de eigen tuin voor ons klaar en de honing was héérlijk. Dat soort details maken echt het verschil. Ook onze kinderen vonden het fantastisch, mede dankzij de lieve honden die vrij rondliepen op het erf. Ze waren ontzettend vriendelijk en rustig. De boerderij ligt net buiten Stanford, op een prachtige en rustige locatie. Perfect om even helemaal tot rust te komen. Stanford zelf is een liefelijk plaatsje met leuke wine estates in de omgeving en ook Hermanus ligt op korte rijafstand. Absoluut een aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar rust, sfeer en gastvrijheid.

Good Luck Homestead offers a fantastic location with immaculate, well-equipped accommodations and truly beautiful views. The hosts are incredibly accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our stay was seamless and comfortable. It is the perfect clean and scenic getaway that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Everything. Vineyard Cottage is a truly amazing place to stay. It is beautifully constructed, very peaceful and fantastically furnished. Truly off grid but all the mod cons needed, plus a hot tub with a view over the vines, surrounding landscape and mountains across the valley. Just idyllic. We loved our stay and were sorry to have to leave after our 2 days there. One of the best places we have ever stayed.

"A relaxing oasis of peace and tranquility on a farm"

It was so quiet and well kept. It felt like we were on a retreat. We loved the access to roam about the property and explore the little corners of the farm. Our cottage was perfectly sized for our needs and we really enjoyed the little personal touch of a basket of fresh garden produce in our kitchen.
