Talkeetna Roadhouse

I felt like I went back in time. The location was also right in the middle of all the action. We were able to listen to live music from our two bedroom suite and watch a movie from a working vhs player with a fun family friendly selection. I’d highly recommended it for a genuine and historic feeling Alaskan experience.

Had to think really hard about this question but I would say it’s not for everybody especially if you dont appreciate antiques and floors that make noise. But for me, it added to the experience and enjoyment

The history of the Roadhouse and community is why we booked the stay. We would return because of the history and the CHEF. Her personality was warm, welcoming and engaging to everyone of us in the dining room. Plus, the breakfast was the BEST we had during our 10 day road trip. The bakery owner next door was awesome with great coffee.

Le lieu est super, deco très vintage j'ai adoré cette ambiance.

La salle de bain est privative mais en dehors de la chambre, juste a côté, nous avions la room 2

L’endroit est chaleureux, propre, bien équipé, on a même eu des petits cookies fait maison. La pâtisserie à côté est très bonne et l’endroit est très bien situé dans Taltkeena. On a pu faire notre lessive, c’était super.

Very different. Plenty of room. Nice we could you the microwave down stairs. Close to all the shops.
