We strongly suspect that this property must have changed hands and that the ratings as displayed by Booking.com is a carry over from a previous owner, for the property is currently in such a sad state that it does not even warrant any star rating at all. The amenities as listed are completely misleading. We stayed and continued to stay, as we were there after the tragic death of a family member and rented 3 rooms. The 1 and only plus was that the rooms and bedding were clean and the location was good. Everything else was sub-standard. Room 1: (1) No bulb in 1 bed lamp. (2) Fridge could not adjust and freezed our drinks and milk. (3) Kettle cord too short and could not work on table. Had to be placed on floor. (4) Only 2 socket plugs for fridge, kettle, microwave oven and heater. Had to plug and unplug the appliances in very uncomfortable position to reach the plugs behind table and fridge. (5) Tea bags lay open and unprotected in open container with no identification of brand. (6) No indication/note to indicate if tap water was safe to drink. A previously purchased 5-liter empty water container was found on bathroom floor! (7) 1 light (out of 3) in ceiling did not work. (8) Very irritating creaky/noisy double bed. (9) Two plates, 2 knives and forks, 2 coffee mugs BUT NO spoons or teaspoons. Room 2: (1) A previously purchased 5-liter half-full water container was available. Safe to drink? (2) No indication/note to indicate if tap water was safe to drink. (3) Water from tap was dirty with mud. (4) TV did not work (5) Some lights in ceiling did not work. Room 3: (1) Bathroom lights totally out of order and owner/caretaker came to inspect but made no effort to rectify. (2) No indication/note to indicate if tap water was safe to drink. (3) TV did not work (4) Door lock (to lock the room) was broken. Owner/caretaker came to inspect but made no effort to fix it. This property should in our opinion be avoided at all cost!
