Exclusive Apartment

Starting off, we saw a few reviews mentioning that there were spiders all over the place. We kindly asked the owner to verify whether there were spiders, and if so, to please have them removed. She immediately messaged us saying there were no spiders and that she had personally checked and confirmed this. However, when we arrived at the house, we found spiders in nearly every corner—especially in the bedroom. Not only were there spiders, but also extensive spider webs and cobwebs (these aren’t as obvious in the photos as they are in real life, even after she supposedly cleaned). After we contacted her again, she offered to come and clean the cobwebs, and she did. Yet the job was poorly done: many cobwebs still remained throughout the house, so in the end, we had to clean every corner ourselves. If she had simply apologized, that would have been sufficient. Instead, she made excuses, claiming it didn’t matter because spiders would return immediately—even though we were only staying one night (it’s impossible that so many spiders and webs appeared so quickly). The main issues are twofold: she lied about verifying the situation, and the place clearly wasn’t cleaned properly. The photos show spider webs all over (again, much more obvious in person), making it clear that no thorough cleaning was done. We understand it’s a rural area and that some spiders are to be expected. We don’t blame her for the spiders themselves, but we do hold her accountable for the lack of cleanliness and for lying about it. She could have said she wasn’t sure, or actually checked properly, but instead she assured us there were no spiders. Finally, inflated reviews mislead potential guests into expecting a 9-plus star experience that doesn’t match reality. In countries like Germany, a 9+ rating is rare because people leave more realistic feedback. In other places, overly generous reviews give a false impression of quality.

No toilet paper, no towels, dust on the furniture and the floor, ...

The apartment is very well furnished. The quality of the furniture is high and there is everything you need. It is clean and the bathroom is spacious and has a large bathtub.

The apartment is located in an old building that is not well maintained. Unfortunately, it is not in the owners' power to change this and if you don't mind the unsightly entrance, the nice apartment will compensate for it.

it's a nice apartment, liked the bathtub and the living room is great for a retreat.

smoking smell in the kitchen, appliances not so clean, the floor is all squeezing. the apartment requires a refresh.
