I had the worst booking experience ever. I tried to cancel 2-3 nights, but they did not accept my request despite having many reasons. The most important issues are: When I arrived at the apartment's location, I was left standing in the middle of the street with four large suitcases, looking for the apartment. I tried to call them, but they did not respond. I sent a message via WhatsApp, which they saw but did not reply to. Eventually, I found the apartment on my own. When I reached the door a couple of hours later, I got an electric shock because of two exposed wires near the apartment's key box. This situation was very dangerous for both me and my children. When my wife entered the bathroom, she was shocked to discover that the window had no curtain, allowing neighbors from a nearby building, less than 2 meters away, to easily see inside. The apartment has several windows with little curtains that offer less privacy. Breakfast was an 8-minute walk away and very limited in options. The staff initially tried to force me to cancel the reservation, but I insisted on keeping it. They took my order and left me waiting. After 25 minutes, when I asked why it was taking so long, they admitted they had forgotten. Then they tried to charge me for the breakfast drinks. I booked another hotel, for 2 nights—one via Booking.com and the other through the hotel reception. Due to a low budget, I couldn't find a hotel for the last night and had to stay at the apartment. The staff did not replace the towels on the second day. How can I use the same towel for consecutive days? Lastly, and this was my fault, the apartment did not have air conditioning. We had to open the windows for air, but it was so noisy outside that we barely slept for 3 hours on the first and last nights. This was the worst booking experience ever. I have screenshots and videos documenting everything I mentioned.
